Death is as much a given in life as taxes, yet death has far more rituals and beliefs surrounding it. Giving it an environmental edge seems to make the most sense in this day and age. For example, All Saints Cemetery and The Preserve in Waterford, Michigan is seeking more "green burials".
These burials will promote more biodegradable burials and help keep people more in touch with nature. There's something poetic some feel about green burials, as if people are truly returning to the Earth.
